Project Odyssey (Wraparound Services)

    Unity Care's Wraparound Program, Project Odyssey, preserves the family bond by reuniting children with their family or home community. Wraparound establishes Family Teams to create and execute plans that meet the specific needs of each family.


    We recognize that families are experts on their own needs, thus families help set the direction for success. Family members determine the details of their own plan, including the expected outcome. Ultimately, a family determines the success or failure of the child's treatment program.


    We recruit the parents of children with special needs to become Family Partners who serve as mentors and guides. Family Partners, along with facilitators and other counseling staff, assess together what is working and what is not working with the families. Staff may also serve as members of a child and family team if the family wishes.
