Unity Care Academy

Located in Salinas on our seven acre campus, Unity Care Academy (UCA) is a 501(c) 3 Non-public school certified by the State of California, which provides services to underserved, special needs students grades 7-12 who possess an IEP (Individual Education Plan). UCA strives to work with students to bring them to their current academic level and to ultimately transition the youth back to a school within their district of residence if deemed appropriate by the IEP team.

UCA’s vision is to promote, encourage and prepare students to enter college or vocational programs thereby assuring them a more productive role in society.

Unity Care Academy’s goals are to:

• Create a flexible schedule to meet individualized student's needs

• Enhances students’ learning skills through diverse educational experiences

• Emphasize and encourage High School graduation and College preparation Prep

• Utilize state approved tectbooks and modify curriculum to meet individual needs

• Works closely with the School District to ensure the best educational goals and objectives educational goals and objectives

• Provide GED assistance to ensure graduation
