Transitional Housing Program (THP) Each year thousands of children nationwide leave foster care at age 18 or 19 without a formal connection to families, and with minimal independent living skills. Teens in group and foster homes are often recovering from chemical addictions, and many come from homes with physical, sexual and substance abuse. stable, transitional housing A commitment from our THP participants, along with consistent community support, results in an ultimate team effort to develop a life of independence. These young people are often in the state of being homeless without any
family or financial support. THP gives these youth an opportunity to build
a foundation and lead meaningful, THP provides an environment for our young people to become more self-sufficient and to develop a sense of worth.
