Dual-Diagnosis Drug Treatment Program

All residents participate in a full-day, seven-day-per-week treatment program, that meets the state requirements for the California Department of Mental Health Systems of Care, Day Treatment Intensive Services.

Our Treatment Program is designed to address the treatment needs of adolescents with a dual diagnosis of emotional disturbances and substance abuse problems. The program has a special emphasis on addressing the cultural needs of Latino youth and families through the provision of culturally competent programming and staff. Youth are referred to us by The Department of Probation, Social Service and Mental Health.

Our youth are required to participate in three program components:

Day Treatment Services

Outpatient Aftercare Service

Through skilled professional treatment, we help our youth work through their personal, social and family challenges. The youth participate in client planning and update reviews, individual, group and family therapy, substance abuse groups and workbooks, physical activities, social learning skills groups, and community outings like backpacking, rafting and camping.
