Services

Unity Care services benefit the Santa Clara, San Mateo, and Monterey counties and their extended San Francisco Bay Area communities. We focus on each child as an individual, and offer a full range of services that empower young people and provide the security and support they need to flourish in society.

Our programs and services include:

Dual Diagnosis Drug Treatment Program – Services and support for severely emotionally disturbed youth with substance abuse challenges and addictions.

Foster Family Agency (FFA) – Unity Care Foster Family Agency focuses on providing a continuum of care and nurturing services that meet a child’s individualized needs and those of his/her family.

Hip Hop 360 – Hip-Hop 360 provides middle school and high school students the opportunity to express themselves through various artistic avenues.

Independent Living Program (ILP) – Through group workshops, individual coaching and goal-setting, ILP prepares our residents for that transition to self-sufficiency.

Intensive Day Treatment - An organized and structured multi-disciplinary treatment program as an alternative to hospitalization or placement in a more restrictive setting.

Pre-College Minority Engineering Program (PC-MEP) – A year-round school enrichment program that exposes students to career opportunities in engineering and science. PC-MEP also includes an intense, hands-on summer program for middle and high school students.

Reaching Independence through Sustainable Employment (RISE) - The RISE Program serves youth who are at-risk and struggling to succeed in an educational and/or work environment due to various factors.

Residential-Care Homes – Nurturing home environments that represent a healthy neighborhood household. Our homes are located in vibrant middle-class communities to ensure a welcome and safe environment.

Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) – One-on-one mental health services for children with severe behavioral issues.

Transitional Housing Program (THP) – A safe and healthy home environment for young adults, ages 18-24, who are required to leave foster care because they reach legal adulthood and as a result become homeless.

Unity Care Academy – Unity Care Group's non-sectarian, non-public school that serves youth currently residing within the community in grades 7-12 and youth who are under the juvenile system and/or the Department of Social Services, who are currently performing below grade level.

Wrap Around Services (Unidad) – Maintain the family bond by reuniting the children with their family and home community. Wraparound establishes family teams to create and implement plans that meet the specific needs of each family.

Y-Tribe Program – A year-long program that provides training and education to address the social developmental challenges our youth face.
