President Chris Clay and CEO Andre' Chapman on KNTV-36
San Jose, CA. - January 2, 2000 - Christopher Clay,
Board Chairman of Unity Care Group Inc. and Andre' Chapman - CEO and President
of Unity Care Group Inc. will appear on KICU TV- 36 "Community Affairs"
program that will air at 11:30 on Sunday January 9th, 2000.
The program format highlighted organizations that we're
addressing the technological "Digital Divide" in Silicon Valley.
Board President Chris Clay spoke about the importance of exposing youth
to technology at an early age and stated "it's never too late to
begin". CEO - Andre' Chapman stated, "Our PC-MEP is very unique
in how it exposes minority students to engineering and science. PC-MEP
is very unique, we don't use the typical computer training curriculum,
we blend hands-on visits to corporations with real-time projects such
as web site, wafer, rocket and robotic design". Chapman spoke about
the importance of bringing together corporations, community and government
to address the "Digital Divide". "We live in the hub of
technology and must do more to expose our youth to this vast economic
boom in this valley"
