Five Unity Care Group homes enter computer age; the
Tech donates passes
San Jose, CA. - December 25th, 1999 - Education is
a priority at the youth group homes run by the non-profit Unity Care Group.
Wish Book donations helped buy computers for each of the five homes in
San Jose. The computers will be especially helpful for homework assignments,
but also will provide entertainment and a diversion for the kids at a
time when they are not with their own families. They also received an
unexpected surprise donated by the Tech Museum of Innovation: free museum
passes to use year round.
